During her residency in AIR Antwerpen the Dutch artist Alien Oosting developed new work in the spaces of Objectif Exhibitions and Extra City.
These spaces together with the lockmans house of AIR functioned as sources for a new body of works dealing with the transition between 'presence' and 'at present'. Her continuing processes of capturing these spaces by camera and a physical recomposing of her registrations in the actual spaces
lead to a new series of videos and prints balancing on a blurry line between physical presence and frozen registration of presence.
Friday March 19th at 7pm AIR, in collaboration with NICC, will present these works in progress in the empty spaces of Extra City.
